Would your dog like a new comfy bed made from a real whiskey barrel? You bet he or she does! Our dog beds are made from real, used whiskey barrels. Each bed is hand sanded and the loose char is removed. Multiple clear coats are applied to create a very durable finish. The interior of the bed is approximately 32" long by 23" wide. Exterior dimensions are approximately 35" long by 26" deep by 20" high. All barrels are unique so all dimensions may differ by an inch or so. We do not include the pillow since we feel most customers will already have some sort of pillow that their dog is used to. Placing a pillow that the dog is used to inside the barrel bed will encourage them to test it out. Sorry, we know she's cute, but Josie isn't included either.
Barrel beds are made to order so we can do some customization. Laser engraving is offered if you would like your dog's name engraved on the ends. We can also accommodate requests for lighter or darker barrels.
Lastly, these beds are solid ~1" thick oak and are heavy. They will weigh around 60 pounds.
