Water Bowls

A water bowl is a decorative, raised vessel placed on a pool deck or integrated into a raised wall. It continuously fills with water and spills it over the edge into the pool. It creates an elegant, cascading waterfall effect while providing the soothing, ambient sound of flowing water.

How They Work

These bowls act as miniature fountains. A dedicated plumbing line from the pool’s filtration system pumps water into the bowl. As the bowl fills, the water overflows either evenly over the entire rim (an "extended lip" design) or through a built-in channel called a scupper, which creates a sleek sheet of water plunging into the swimming pool below.

Types and Materials

Materials

They are built to withstand outdoor elements, typically constructed from premium heavy-gauge copper, Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC), stainless steel, or powder-coated metals.

Fire & Water Bowls

High-end, luxury designs incorporate both fire and water elements into the same bowl. These feature a central burner that creates a mesmerizing ring or line of flame emerging from the center while water spills outward from the edges.
